本讲关注汉语中表达“女性”概念范畴的转喻类型的历时演变。在特定语境下，某些词汇可通过“服饰代人”，“地点代人”、“身体代人”、“特征代人”等转喻类型转指“美女”。这些表达“女性”范畴的转喻类型在汉语历史发展过程中是否表现出了历时差异？本研究基于概貌距离算法，利用多维尺度分析方法将转喻类型的历时演变过程进行有效、直观的呈现。另外，借助泊松回归建模分析历时、体裁等因素对转喻类型分布的影响，并从认知及文化（社会、历史）的角度对发现的差异进行阐释。

This paper introduces an innovative method to aid the study of conceptual onomasiological research, with a specific emphasis on diachronic variation in the metonymic patterns (e.g. clothes for person, location for located, body part for person, characteristics for person) with which a target concept is expressed. We illustrate how the method is applied to explore and visualize such diachronic changes by means of a case study on the metonymic patterns for women in the history of Chinese. Visualization is done with the help of a Multidimensional Scaling solution based on the profile-based distance calculation. This method proves to be effective and feasible in detecting changes in the distribution of metonymic patterns in authentic historical corpus data. Then, Poisson regression is employed to disclose the interaction of “time” and “genre” in metonymy variation. Significant diachronic changes emerging in the data and the differences between literary and non-literary discourse are inspected against the historical changes in culture and society to detect the potential factors behind the changes in metonymic conceptualization of woman.

主讲人简介

张炜炜，女。现为上海外国语大学语言研究院专职研究员。研究兴趣包括认知语言学、社会语言学、语料库语言学、语言学中的定量方法等。她于2006年获北京航空航天大学“英语语言文学”学士学位，2008年获北京航空航天大学“外国语言学及应用语言学”硕士学位，2013年获比利时鲁汶大学“语言学”博士学位，师从著名认知语言学家Dirk Geeraerts教授及语料库语言学家Dirk Speelman教授。迄今在Metaphor and the Social World（John Benjamins），《外语教学与研究》，《中国ESP研究》，《外语学刊》等国内外学术刊物发表文章。此外，她的书籍论文将发表于Mixed Models and Modern Multivariate Methods in Linguistics（2014，The Springer Press）。
