陈桦，南京大学教授、博士、博导。中国英语语音教学研究会副会长兼任秘书长；曾任北京外国语大学中国外语教育研究中心兼职研究员（2006-2010）；中国语言战略研究中心代副主任；国际手势研究会会员；江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人；先后在英国UCL、荷兰Radboud、德国MaxPlanck访问研究。研究兴趣：应用语言学、实验语音学、临床语言学、视听韵律学等。

内容摘要：

Saussure once said “Soundprimary” (1916), which means phonetics must be the basic subbranch inlinguistic field. Traditionally, the application of phonetic knowledge is onlanguage teaching and learning as L1 and L2, contrastive analysis betweenlanguages, and theoretical studies. Along with the development of computer science,together with gradual awareness that phonetics can not always stand alone incommunication and cognitive interpretation of language, more and more researchcross the border of phonetics inside the linguistic family (e.g. to pragmatics)and even linguistics to surrounding fields (e.g. to psychology). But phoneticsshould always be the core in our research. Some reflections oninterdisciplinary research will be discussed in this talk.
